In the heart of the old city part of Casal Velino Paese finds the lover of Italian originality a picturesque reality. The apartment lies on the main street, which is an approx. 3 meter wide alley on a hill of the historical center. The street exists as such already since centuries.
You will reach the antique piazza at the village church while walking along a tangle of alleys downhill and you will end up in an alley that is lovingly called „Varecupa“ by its residents. This alley separates the entire old city part and still today leads to the ruins that run along hills down to the coast. Guests predominantly use an additional access that lies on a residential street at the bottom border of the old city part that lies in a distance of less than 100 m.
Here the people still know each other, are related around various corners and alleys are the social meeting, where you can witness people in flourishing conversations or sitting on stairs and enjoying the pretty days.
The obvious advantages of the Villa Varecupa are the closeness to the ocean and the beautiful sandy beaches, which can be easily reached within minutes. Noteworthy is also the closeness to the National Park Cilento in the essential with the original surroundings that lies in communication with the ancient structures: present culture will be realized during a dialog and that seems much more impressive than just the visit to the beach.
Another advantage is that even during the main season the guest will have the opportunities to move back from the beach life and dive into the private and the smooth village life with its always open and not overcrowded bars and cafés and to chat with the residents while enjoying the glorious panoramic view over the ocean. Here is also the ideal starting point for excursions into the untouched heart of the National Park, which can already reached after a few hiking minutes.
The apartment Varecupa lies besides a small garden, which is cared for by the vegetable and fruit supplier. You will enter the apartment through a complete, new and well maintained fitted kitchen. This spacious room is dominated by natural wood. Beside the kitchen is the dining room, nicely furnished. From here you will reach the large bedroom (obviously with closets, bed site table and lamps and more). An additional bedroom and a well maintained bathroom complete the living area. A washer is present as well. In front of the house door is a small court yard with garden chairs, an ideal place for breakfast or just to sit back and read.
